Product Description
Polyethylene Glycol-4000 (Macrogol 4000) is a white waxy solid flake or granular powder with a slight peculiar odor. Polyethylene glycol is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer and has good compatibility with many organic components. It is slightly hygroscopic. Melts easily when exposed to heat. Soluble in water and ethanol, insoluble in ether. Relative density (d2525) 1.212. melting point 54-58 ºC. Viscosity(99ºC) 76~110μm2/s. Flash point(open cup) >246ºC.
